The School offers the following programmes developed to meet the needs of current needs of the SE European region. In doing so, we aim to provide students with the knowledge and skills to secure a successful career in today's highly competitive job market.
We believe that the knowledge and the interpretation of the historical and cultural data of this region, an area with increasing political and economic importance, offers a distinguished specialization that is necessary in the scientific research in our times. Next intake: October 2013
This programme aims at exploring and highlighting the functional interdependence between art, law and the economy. Particular emphasis shall be placed upon the legal, financial and political considerations and the corresponding regulatory approaches implemented in Europe and elsewhere concerning the creation of works of art, their commercialization, the operation of the markets concerned, the function of Intellectual Property law at EU and international level, the protection of human culture, as well as, the protection against unlawfully acquired works of art. The Course adopts a multi-disciplinary approach and is addressed to graduates of various academic backgrounds, including law, economics, political science, history of art, philosophy etc., that wish to specialize on the interrelation between art, law and the economy.
