Dr. Vagelis Papakonstantinou

Vagelis Papakonstantinou is a partner in PKpartners Law Firm in Athens, as well as adjunct professor in the University of Patras, Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics, and an academic assistant at the International Hellenic University. He is also a researcher at the Research Group on Law Science Technology & Society (LSTS) at the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and, since March 2010, a Member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Copyright Organisation

Vagelis Papakonstantinou has extensive theoretical and practical experience in all fields of Information Technology Law and Intellectual Property Law and is the author of several books and articles with Greek and international publishers. He is a regular speaker at national and international events, publishes regularly in the Greek press, has participated in several research projects at national and EU level (in co-operation with the European Network and Information Security Agency (ENISA), The Centre for European Policy Studies (CEPS), the European Public Law Organisation, the Greek Technology and Research Institute on Computers and Informatics (RACTI), and the Hellenic Open University), and frequently consults the Greek government in the related fields.
